Let me know how you feel Speak UP

  1. I don't agree that animals have rights, in the same way people do (or should do.) As I said before, I think it's a waste to use one bit and throw the rest back. But it's better than throwing it into a landfill. And like I said, there were hundreds and hundreds of species that came into and out of existence before our time completely. It's not about us "ignoring it" - it's the nature of life. So I don't see how one species will affect our planet to the extent that it's worth getting over-excited about.

Well I don't agree with you.
Leave it to humans to ruin life and the planet.
What gives us the right to kill an animal into extinction.
Future generations are going to look at us as being barbaric and cruel.

We are all entitled to our opinion...I understand that, but what I don't understand is that you think killing a whole species is just a part of life. How is that humane. I could understand if they became extinct by an act of nature, but I don't see what we are doing is that. To me it is selfishness and greed. We should be trying to make it a better place for our children and theirs. Please watch the movie and then come back here and tell me you think it is ok, and that it is just natures way.

Honestly I would love for you to see this documentary. I learnt so much from it. It is not just about sharks.
